Rules and regulations of Careeria
The purpose of the rules and regulations is to promote smooth learning, safety, and overall well-being within the educational environment. These rules apply to all members of the educational community and are in effect in all premises, outdoor areas, and at events organized by the institution.
If a student violates these rules, disciplinary actions may be taken in accordance with the Act on Vocational Education. Such actions may include a written warning, removal from the classroom for the remainder of the lesson, removal from an event organized by the institution, denial of instruction for up to three working days, and temporary suspension for a maximum of one year. (Act 537/2017, Chapter 9)
1. Students and staff have the right to a safe and pleasant study or work environment, as well as the unobstructed progress of learning. (Act 531/2017, Section 80)
2. Every member of the school community is obligated, through their behaviour, to promote order, comfort, and safety at work, as well as to adhere to good manners within the institution’s premises, outdoor areas, and in all scheduled activities. Careeria does not tolerate any inappropriate behaviour, bullying, or harassment.
3. The education provider may issue specific instructions to ensure proper order, comfort, and safety. These instructions must be prepared in accordance with the principles of equality and non-discrimination. Failure to comply is considered a violation of the rules and regulations. (Act 537/2017, Section 80)
4. Students are required to participate in instruction according to their personal competence development plan. Teachers have the obligation to monitor and ensure that students’ studies progress appropriately.
5. Students must arrive prepared and punctually to any event listed in the schedule. The schedule and working hours must be followed, and any changes or absences must be reported in advance and according to instructions. Assigned tasks must be completed diligently and properly.
6. All students and staff at Careeria are equal, and operations are conducted in accordance with the separately established equality and non-discrimination plan.
7. Instructions regarding general safety, fire protection, occupational safety, and traffic and parking regulations within the premises must be strictly followed. Any apparent risk of accident must be immediately reported to those at risk and to the responsible authorities.
8. Occupational safety instructions must be adhered to within Careeria’s premises and areas. In the workshop, appropriate work clothing and protective equipment must be worn.
9. The cleanliness of teaching facilities, as well as the condition and organization of tools, must be maintained daily according to the given instructions. Users must return the facilities to the same condition as they were in at the commencement of use.
10. It is prohibited to bring or possess any object or substance onto any of Careeria’s campuses that poses a danger to oneself or others or is prohibited by law. Tools used in instruction are to be used and carried only during instructional situations. Teachers and the principal/director have the right to confiscate such objects or substances. (Act 531/2017, Section 89)
11. Mobile phones, tablets, and other devices may be used during lessons only according to the teacher’s instructions. The disruptive use of devices during lessons is prohibited.
12. Permission must be obtained from the individuals being photographed or recorded within the institution’s premises. In addition, permission from the teacher is required for photographing or recording during instructional situations. Photographs, videos, or recordings of another person may not be published on the internet, social media, or any other public platform without their consent.
13. The possession, use, distribution, and appearance under the influence of intoxicants and drugs are prohibited within the institution, on its premises, or in situations related to studies, whether on or off campus.
14. All Careeria campuses are smoke-free. This applies to everyone, including students and staff. The use of all tobacco and nicotine products (such as cigarettes, snuff, nicotine pouches, and e-cigarettes) is prohibited in all areas of the institution, including outdoor areas and all scheduled events. Smoking-related equipment or products related to the use of tobacco or similar products must not be displayed within the school premises. Possession of tobacco products is prohibited by law for individuals under 18 years of age. (Act 549/2016)
15. The property and materials of the institution and the workplace learning site must be handled carefully, following the provided instructions and the principles of sustainable development. Students must immediately report any damage or loss of property to a teacher. Intentional or negligent damage to property will result in liability for compensation. (Act 531/2017, Section 94 and Act 421/1974)
16. Before using a Careeria vehicle, the driver is obligated to present their driver’s license and demonstrate their fitness to drive if requested.
17. Unauthorized presence on Careeria campus areas is prohibited. Anyone visiting the institution must have permission from the staff. If a staff member is not available to receive the visitor in the lobby, the reception service of the facility must be informed about the incoming visitor.
18. Careeria’s network must not be used for illegal purposes, such as spamming, personal harassment, disrupting communications, copyright violations, etc. Any harassment conducted through the networks will be subject to criminal proceedings (Acts 578/1995 and 540/2007, Chapter 38, Sections 5, 6, 7, and 8).
